This elegant riverside palace with a spectacular view on the Po river was built in the second half of the 16th century by Duke Emanuele Filiberto.
It was enlarged and partly remodelled between 1630 and 1660 for the Royal Madam Christine of France, who cherished this one residence above all others.
It is currently the seat of the Faculty of Architecture of the Turin Polytechnic, and the State Rooms on the piano nobile with their rich stuccowork and frescoes house the office of the Dean.
